Which beach should I choose?
If avoiding sargassum is your top priority, Playa Norte (Isla Mujeres) and North Cancún are consistently the safest bets. For the best of both worlds — resort amenities with lower sargassum risk — North Cancún is closest to the airport and has the most aggressive daily cleanup operations.
Remember: even high-risk beaches have all-inclusive resorts with pools. A heavy beach day doesn't have to ruin your trip — it just means a pool day instead.
